Yes Dylan is ranked number one. Who else would of been. How do I even start? Well he won the Texas League MVP with an outstanding slash line of .281/.364/.518 and an OPS of .882. He hit 21 homers and 24 doubles in 417 at bats. Guys, he has a lot of power. Mouth watering potential. He has an above average arm, range, and gold glove potential in a corner outfield spot (preferably RF). The man had an OPS of 1.098 in Triple-A (granted it was 79 at bats). He's a special talent and could be the best hitter on the Cardinals, a team that has Paul Goldschmit. The 2016 first rounder will come into camp with an oppurtunity to win the left field job or fill in for an injury and could put the Cardinals into a Brett Cecil situation with Dexter Fowler. While unlikely, I would not be shocked if that happened. He will most likely start the year in Triple-A, but he will on the team at some point within the 2020 season, whether its April or early June. In my eyes he is the 3rd best outfield prospect in baseball behind Robert and Kelenic. He is going to be star. I hate sitting here and acting like its going to work out perfectly, but damn it sure feels like it. In his prime, he has the potential to be a 30-35 homers, .900 ops, and gold glove right fielder. My comp to him is Carlos Gonzalez's prime (don't think he's going to be as injured tho).
Prediction: He wont make the team out of ST, but he lights up Triple-A and comes up to a struggling offense in late April or early May.
2020 MLB Prediction stats: .279/.350/.450 and 24 homeruns.
